Why is this show so perfect? I just watched three episodes!

The setting: figurine, the interior of the palaces and the light are just among the best seen on something done for TV.
The casting: can’t think of better faces to fill these characters, from the Pope and his brother, to the assassin guy.
The acting: It is just superb. I do care for the characters. I believe on them, being on the side I symphatize  or being on the other side.
The writing: concise but compelling enough to keep us interested without treating audience as dumb.
The pacing: I like this slow camera pace, but with still plenty of action scenes.

Now, let’s see if the show can keep the quality along the season…
